The EU might “respond swiftly and decisively” in response to what it deems “unjustified” travel bans imposed by the United States against five Europeans working on combating digital hatred and disinformation, a European Commission spokesperson stated.

EU Officials Condemn US Action as ‘Coercion’

European leaders including Emmanuel Macron accused Washington of “bullying and threats”, following the visa restrictions targeted figures who have been central to campaigns to introduce laws regulating US-based technology firms.
